Even before the first lofts opened, pioneering artists, lovers of historic architecture, and dreamers saw a future in the oldest section of our city started and migrateto Main, Spring and Broadway. By the turn of the last century, a core group of people who made these events happen were all within a few blocks of each other.
The Downtown Art Walk attracts thousands to Historic Downtown on the second Thursday of each month. As many as 10,000 people fill the galleries, stores, restaurants of Historic Downtown.
